Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas, is a musical with a little mix between Halloween Town and Christmas. When the town's Pumpkin King Jack Skellington (Danny Elfman and ) and his ghost-dog Zero wander off far into the woods, they run into some special trees that have holiday symbols. Jack is sucked into the mystical Christmas tree and ends up seeing Sandy Claws. He begins to start his own Christmas with the village, but is warned (of a vision) by Sally, his good friend, who was created and sewn together by the evil scientist Dr. Finklestien.
Jack dresses up like Sandy Claws and uses mechanical reindeer (that the doctor invents) to power his "sled." There is just one problem with Halloween Town's Christmas. Someone stands in their way, Oogie Boogie. Oogie Boogie is a monster made up of bugs, who has used his little "tricker treaters" (Lock, Shock, and Barrell) to spy on everything that goes on. Then he captures Sally and Santa. While Jack is delivering Christmas presents to the kids, everything goes wrong. The children find the presents fearful, so the army shoots down Jack. Everything goes wrong, and Jack goes back home. He ends up defeating Oogie Boogie and saving Halloween Town.
