RELIGION at All Saints Lower School
Lower School students attend chapel Monday through Friday. The religion program at All Saints Episcopal School is the center around which the academic programs, social interactions and community activities revolve. Each day begins at 8:00 a.m. with Chapel. The school community, students, and faculty are expected to gather for this time of prayer and thanksgiving. The express purpose is to set apart each new day emphasizing that our lives and our work are holy and a gift from God. The order of service conforms to the rites and liturgies according to the use of the Episcopal Church in The Book of Common Prayer, 1979. All students are given the opportunity to provide the musical offering either as a part of the grade level or as a soloist.
The ministry of All Saints Episcopal School extends beyond the campus. All grade levels participate in the outreach program as an expression of God's love to the larger community of Lubbock. The outreach program includes projects on and off campus which focus the students' attention on issues of stewardship of the environment, care of the old and the young, and the feeding of the hungry and the poor. The intent of the outreach program is to help the students be more aware of the blessings they enjoy through the sharing of them with others.
